Frequently asked questions
StoryBond connects families through storytelling. It makes stories where your child is the hero. Family can be in the story too. Each story has one simple lesson, like kindness. The story opens in one screen—illustrations, text, and read-aloud together—then from that same story you can sing along, play games, try Virtue Talk, order keepsakes, or start another chapter. One calm storybook flow first; the rest branches from the same story—not separate read, comic, and listen products.
Any family with children aged 3 to 12 (preteen). Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles—anyone who reads with a child. If you can use WhatsApp, you can use this.
Add your child's name and age. Say what the story should be about (or tap a suggestion). The app writes it in seconds. You can add a family name if you like. That's it.
Little ones get a shorter story and fewer pages, with very simple words. Older children get more pages and a longer story, with words that suit their age. The pictures follow the same story—more pages mean more scenes. Everything stays gentle and safe for kids.
StoryBond supports 14 languages for creating stories, reading, and listening: Bengali, English, French, German, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi, Spanish, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. Pick the one you prefer when you add a child, in Story Lab, or in the reading room.
You can start free (3 new stories per month). The full Story Hub is on every plan; paid plans mainly raise how many new stories you can create each month. Listen, translation, and panels are not locked to a paid tier — fair use and rate limits apply. See storybond.in/pricing.
The main limit is how many new stories you can generate each month (3 on Free, 10 on Basic, up to 60 on Premium, rolling 30 days). Premium also has a monthly AI usage budget. Some AI actions — like listen, translation, or generating illustrated panels — can hit fair-use limits. If that happens, try again later or check Help for details.
Yes. We check stories to keep them right for kids. There are no ads for children, no chatting with strangers, and only grown-ups create the stories.
We use your details only to run StoryBond for you—like sign-in, your child's name and age for stories, and the stories you make. We don't sell your data. Paying happens through our payment partner; we don't store your card on our side. Sign-in is with Google or email link. For full details, see storybond.in/privacy.
Stories are written with AI, then checked for safety. Each story is new—not copied from a book. You can always read it first before sharing with your child.
After the story, you and your child chat about what they learned. You can pick one small thing to try at home.
Yes. They can make the story from their phone and put themselves in as Nani or Dadu. They can hear it in the child's language too.
Yes. You can order a printed book or gifts with your story on them.
The whole family can be in the story—not just the child. You get 14 languages for stories, reading, and listening (Bengali, English, French, German, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi, Spanish, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu), plus pictures on the pages, games, and keepsakes.
